A lot of independent shops profess to be scrappy and resourceful, but when you’re a two-person team, you really have to do it all. It’s a challenge co-founders Stephen Flynn and Mike Postma tackled head-on when they launched Halifax-based Wunder in 2017. To accommodate clients with different needs and budgets, the duo will, on occasion, partner with other shops on assignments. But, for the most part, Flynn and Postma aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty – whether the project requires strategic and creative thinking, shooting and editing or even a clever PR hack to push an idea to the next level. Next on the pair’s agenda? Figuring out what skills they need the most in their first full-time hire.
