It’s been a year of change for Toronto-based No Fixed Address (NFA). In February, it welcomed Jordan Doucette, who returned home to Canada from Leo Burnett Chicago as a creative partner. Before long, NFA co-founder and CEO Dave Lafond realized Doucette had what it takes to help lead the business – and promptly promoted her to agency president. With Doucette playing a greater leadership role, Lafond was freed up to focus on turning NFA into a network (though he doesn’t like that word). In the spring of 2020, NFA opened its first office in Montreal by absorbing agency Supernormal. Soon after, it opened Mischief @ No Fixed Address, a New York entity helmed by former BBDO NYC CCO Greg Hahn. In addition to sustained growth in its health division, the expansions have given NFA greater access to pitches in clients in Quebec and in the U.S.
